We produce a range of “upcycled” furniture using donated items that are basically beautiful but with a little care, skill and imagination can be made to really stand out. These quirky and individual items will be a real talking point in your home!

We are a Community Interest Company. This means that any profits from running our shop will be reinvested to help further our social and environmental aims.

We aim to reduce the amount of waste being sent to landfill by promoting reuse, repair and recycling. Too many pieces of unwanted furniture and other household items are still being thrown away when they could be reused. We want to help make reuse easy.

Would you like to volunteer with Restart Lochaber? We will offer all our volunteers full training and hope to help those who have been struggling with long-term unemployment get back into paid work.

Giving back

We want to give something back into the community in return for sustaining the shop with donations. We will be making connections with local charities, health services, social organisations and other agencies to find ways we can help people in our community by donating essential items of furniture and household goods to them. We anticipate that we will run workshops in upcycling and will work closely with a variety of community projects to supply materials, labour and expertise. We will also support local craft people by providing them with a space to showcase their products.
